Restoring the Blackberry

After reinstalling BB OS 4.7, I had to start from scratch... -- Setup from fresh install of BB OS Configure mail Resend service books from BIS site Install: Lexulous (from App World after login--allows for downloading of previously purchased apps) Install: Google Mobile App Install: Google Maps Configure: Google Latitude Install: Google Sync Configure: Google Sync

  • Sync main calendar
  • Sync all other calendars
Install from BDM
  • Tasks
  • Memo Pad
  • Texas Hold ‘em
  • Blackberry Messenger
  • Blackberry Application Center
Reboot (Automated) Sync: Notes Sync: Tasks Install: Blackberry Messenger (v5) Reboot Restore BBM contact list from cloud (it restored an old list...) Add additional contacts to BBM Install: Reardon Mobile Assistant Install: Facebook Install: Flickr Configure: Facebook Configure: Flickr Configure: Camera (image stabilization on, geotagging on) Configure: Browser Install: MilkSync Install: Movies Install: WeatherEye Install: Seesmic Install: Evernote Install: SugarSync Install: Yelp Install: Foursquare Configure: SugarSync Configure: Foursquare Configure: Evernote Configure: MilkSync Configure: WeatherEye Configure: Seesmic Backup Backup BBM to cloud and SD card (after re-invited contacts accepted) Install: KeePassBB Delete: Password Safe Reboot -- That’s pretty much my basic configuration for my BBs. It’s entirely possible that I forgot something, and will remember an install later, but at least now I have a good backup from which I can restore if I brick it again.
