Original Mac Mini

So I toyed around with installing Leopard on my G4 Mac Mini. It worked, but it slowed that little bugger down to almost a crawl. I started feeling guilty for putting the poor thing through that much processing, so I dug out my original Mac Mini disk, and my Tiger upgrade disk (free upgrade because I bought the Mini as Tiger was shipping.)I still haven't figured out exactly what I'm going to use the Mini for. Quicken, mainly--I don't feel comfortable keeping that on my laptop... But what else? My 17" MacBook Pro is so much faster, it's hard to go from the laptop to the Mini without banging my head against the desk out of frustration. Hopefully, rolling back to Tiger will speed things up a bit, but we'll see. I'm wondering if anyone else is running Leopard on their G4 Mac Mini, and how your experience is/was?

I'll admit, I almost missed it. But a friend of mine reminded me it was tonight, so I rushed out to take photos. The shitty thing about living in an apartment complex is that all I can see is 360 degrees of apartment buildings. I hopped in my car and drove a few blocks away and snapped a few shots, but forgot my tripod... When I got back to the apartment, I wandered around the complex and found a vantage point where I could see the moon between the trees. The only tripod I had at home was an old crappy one, but it did the trick for the most part. Next one's in 2010--hope y'all saw this one.
